This is my latest painting which revolved around creating the illusion of "white" with watercolor. Light washes of violets and grays plus a little warmth with brown all hint at white . The image photographed a little more purple than the reality of the piece but the limited palette is still fairly obvious. ( For example the window panes are actually just white paper.) I am still struggling with getting too tight in my approach and even so there are a few areas that reminded me of where I want to go with my painting. Thanks for checking this out!
